D.A.R.E.
New Hope entered into a partnership with the Solebury Police Department in order to provide the Drug Abuse Resistence Education program at the New Hope-Solebury Middle School for the 2002-2003 school year. Students receive instruction regarding the dangers of substance abuse and peer pressure.

The officers introduce self-esteem building principles and constructive activities as viable alternatives to truancy and drug abuse. This program provides the children with the opportunity to meet the officers and the officers to become familiar with the parents as well. Officer Mark Chaiken represents Solebury Police Department and Officer Kenneth Kosuhowski represents the New Hope Police Department.

FORMS

Alarm Registration Form - You must register your home or business alarm system. By law, the Borough is required to respond to every alarm. You are permitted up to three free false alarms per year. You will be charged $25 for the fourth false alarm, $50 for the fifth, and $100 per incident for allsubsequent false alarms in any given year.

Emergency Contact Form - Use this form to accompany the Alarm Registration Form or if you want theBorough to be aware of your emergency contacts should you need to be reached in case of emergency

House Check Form - This form is to be used if you plan to be away from your home or business for an extended period of time. The New Hope Police Department will patrol your property while you are away. Return this form at least one week before you leave your home or business.

Peddler's / Solicitation Permit Form - Use this form if you wish to sell products or services on the the streets of New Hope.
