Parking Meters
Meters accept quarters only and will provide you with 20 minutes per quarter.

Meters are enforced Monday - Sunday from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM every day of the year. To contact the New Hope Borough Police Department regarding parking tickets, bagging meters, parking permits, and related parking information, you can email violations@newhopepd.org .

You may also call 215-862-2483 Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and talk to Roseanne who is in charge of the Parking Violations Division.

Parking Violations
Failure to respond within the time specified (postmarked within 10 days of issue) will result in the issuance of a citation, summons, escalated fine, court costs and processing fees.

Payment may be mailed to the Police Department, deposited in any of the red Fine-O-Meter Courtesy boxes or paid at the department during regular business hours. We accept VISA and Mastercard.

MOTORCYCLES
We strictly enforce a noise ordinance in the borough. Spot checking is done by a uniformed officer using a calibrated decibel meter, the Extech 407768 Digital Sound Level Meter. It is accurate within 5%. The decibel meter is calibrated prior to and at the end of each shift.

Motorcycles may park several in a space providing they are within the painted lines. If a meter expires, all motorcycles in the parking stall will be ticketed.
