The Kiosks accept Quarters, paper currency and credit card payments. There is a $3.00 minimum purchase for credit card transactions. As noted on the face of each Kiosk, Kiosks do not give change.
There are 25 Public Parking Kiosks throughout the Borough. 15 of the 25 Kiosks are located on Main Street.
ParkMobile and PayByPhone are accepted apps. Zones are posted on the kiosks and available through your mobile apps. There is a minimum $3.00 credit card purchase when using the parking apps.
Service fees may apply in accordance with the Parking App’s use agreement terms. These are not fees generated by New Hope Borough.
“Pay-By-Plate” does NOT require the display of a parking receipt. If a paper receipt is desired, initiate printing of the receipt, after payment has been accepted, by pressing the green check button a second time.
Pay-By-Plate can be initiated from any PUBLIC PARKING KIOSK in the Borough and additional time can be added at any kiosk location. But be sure to KNOW YOUR LICENSE PLATE NUMBER.
There are privately-owned parking lots throughout the Borough. While some of these privately-owned lots may have their own kiosk, the private lots are NOT in the Borough Kiosk System and payments are not reciprocal.
Since Pay-By-Plate is not a “space designated” payment, fees for parking are the same for all types of motor vehicle.
Yes, there are handicap designated spots throughout public parking in New Hope Borough as noted on the parking map.
In accordance with PennDOT, when a vehicle is used by or for a person with a disability, a handicap placard or plate will allow vehicles to park for a period of 60 minutes in excess of the legal parking period permitted by local authorities.
Failure to pay within the time specified (postmarked within 10 days of issue) will result in the issuance of a late fee of $20 payable within 20 days of the original ticket date. Failure to pay the ticket will result in citation, summons, escalated fine, court costs, and processing fees.
