Boards & Commissions
Board Information
The members of New Hope Borough boards serve without compensation, and members of some boards are required to live in the Borough (e.g., Zoning Hearing Board, Planning Commission, Civil Service Commission, Shade Tree Commission, and Park and Recreation Board). Other boards, such as the Revitalization Committee, the Historic Architectural Review Board, the Human Relations Commission, and the Uniform Construction Code Board of Appeals, allow a mix of residents and non-residents.
Each board has an appointed term of office, and each appointment, regular or alternate, requires approval by Borough Council at a public meeting.
Vacancies & Open Positions
Individuals interested in applying for such positions may email the Borough Manager for additional information, or they may download an application form (PDF) and return the completed form to the Borough Manager.
Persons interested in serving on boards which do not currently have vacancies are encouraged to apply at any time. Vacancies can occur unexpectedly and persons who have applications on file will be contacted in those instances, as applicable.
